About Churchgate
Churchgate is a prominent vacant corner site in Leicester City Centre, poised for transformation through a residential-led mixed-use development by Four Architects.
Appointed to provide comprehensive architectural services, we embraced the challenge of the site’s narrow dimensions, varying levels, and proximity to listed buildings. Our innovative design solutions enabled the creation of 17 thoughtfully planned apartments. Equally important was our commitment to enlivening the ground floor with vibrant retail units, ensuring an active, bustling frontage that complements the reduced residential scale above.
This development not only maximises the site’s potential but also enhances the urban fabric of Leicester City Centre.
