White Bear Yard is a distinguished four-storey retail and commercial site in Clerkenwell, London.

Four Architects were appointed to deliver comprehensive planning and detailed design services for the refurbishment and extension of this existing building.

Our team successfully secured planning approval for an elegant two-storey roof extension, enhancing the building’s functionality and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, we meticulously remodelled the façade to create a striking main entrance off the more prominent Back Hill, significantly improving the building’s street presence.

The design thoughtfully incorporates separate tenanted spaces, addressing the client’s immediate needs while strategically future-proofing the site for potential expansion.
